Senescent cell accumulation is a key driver of aging, disrupting tissue function and promoting inflammation. Because aging is slow and not yet a defined regulatory indication, we are advancing our lead compound, SNC711, toward IND in oncology, where disease and treatment reproduce the hallmarks of aging in a rapid timeframe.

Across metabolic disease, cancer, fibrosis, immune dysfunction and aging. Senvi is developing SNC711, a novel therapeutic peptide designed to selectively eliminate senescent cells while preserving healthy tissue.

Why Senescence Matters

As we age and in many diseases, senescent cells accumulate in tissues. Instead of being cleared, these dysfunctional cells persist and release inflammatory signals that impair immune surveillance, promote fibrosis, disrupt metabolism, accelerate tissue degeneration and contribute to treatment resistance. These diverse conditions may share a common biological driver, senescent cell accumulation, creating an opportunity for a new class of medicines with reach across multiple major therapeutic areas.

Biology that extends across species

SNC711 shows senolytic activity in human and mouse cells and in nematodes, suggesting its mechanism is shared across species rather than unique to a single animal model.

Safety across a wide dose range

SNC711 is effective at 10-20 mg/kg with no measurable toxicity at 125 mg/kg (6-12x higher) across 250+ mice, including 10+ weekly doses, with no meaningful blood, liver or kidney changes and no evidence of mutagenicity in preliminary Ames testing.

Delivery

SNC711 was chemically modified to resist breakdown and improve cell penetration, enabling both IV and oral delivery. Its 20 mg/kg effective dose in mice translates to an estimated 200 mg human dose, suitable for pill formulation and potentially avoiding the hurdles of IV delivery.
